Dates
 31 January to 17 February 2026
Location
 Venice
Description
The 2026 edition of the Carnival of Venice unfolds as a tribute to the Olympic spirit, weaving together the rich traditions of the lagoon city and the universal language of play and competition. Under the theme “Olympus – At the origins of the game”, the event invites you to rediscover Venice as a vibrant stage where skill, performance and festivity once merged in the heart of the Serenissima. In the setting of narrow alleys, majestic canals and open-air splendour, visitors are invited to participate in a celebration that honours both past and present — from acrobatic spectacles of old to contemporary artistic challenges. The Carnival becomes a bridge between Venice and the mountains of Italy hosting the 2026 Winter Games, uniting the values of freedom, community and joyful rivalry in one extraordinary festival.
