Palazzo Flangini
Description:
Palazzo Flangini hosts an exhibition dedicated to Gianni Berengo Gardin, a master of Italian photography known for his attentive and human взгляд on everyday life. The exhibition brings together a selection of black-and-white images that portray Venice through a direct and essential visual language.
His photographs reveal a city far from postcard clichés, shaped by narrow streets, quiet gestures, daily routines and fleeting moments. Each image captures simple scenes with remarkable sensitivity, turning ordinary situations into powerful visual stories.
The exhibition highlights the deep connection between the photographer and Venice, observed with both documentary clarity and emotional depth. The use of black and white enhances contrasts, textures and perspectives, creating a timeless narrative that moves between past and present.
The result is an immersive journey that invites visitors to discover a more intimate and authentic side of Venice through the eyes of one of the great figures of twentieth-century photography.
