Spazio SV presents La Sublime Ossessione, an exhibition that unfolds as a philosophical and aesthetic journey into the mind of an obsessive collector. This imagined figure hovers on the edge of rationality, driven by an uncontrollable desire to possess and accumulate art in all its forms.
Within this suspended world between reality and vision, obsession becomes the driving force, transforming the collection into a chaotic, almost delirious gallery. Paintings, sculptures, and objects overlap and confront each other, generating a vortex of meanings and sensations. The act of accumulation reveals a profound, unconscious tension: the collector’s attempt to merge with the objects themselves, turning them into extensions and mirrors of an inner universe.
The exhibition is conceived as a secret sanctuary, a private chamber that contains the very soul of the collector. Small artworks and objects are arranged in an apparently random and crowded display, saturating the viewer’s gaze and creating a fragmented, open-ended narrative. Visitors are invited to wander and observe slowly, letting their eyes follow the rhythm of chaos and detail, discovering unexpected connections between the pieces.
