This exhibition is a golden bridge between East and West. "L’oro dipinto" tells the story of the artistic connection between Crete and Venice through a selection of works that blend Byzantine iconography with Venetian Renaissance painting. At the center is El Greco—a visionary artist who fused Orthodox spirituality and Western sensibility into a unique, modern style. The exhibition offers a fresh perspective on a time of intense cultural exchange, where art became a shared language across worlds.
